Travel Cottage Grove is our community’s tourism organization dedicated to providing information on events, accommodations, restaurants, and all things fun and enjoyable to do in Cottage Grove, WI with the goal of drawing visitors to our community. Tourism is a great economic driver and helps to improve the quality of life in our community.
We love to share the wonderful places to visit in Cottage Grove, from our outdoor amenities and attractions to our ever-growing dining options. Visitors to our community not only have their memories and experiences to share, but also help boost our local economy, support jobs and bring opportunities to share.
Destination Cottage Grove is the official destination marketing organization for the community of Cottage Grove through the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce. Destination Cottage Grove exists to market the CG Area as a travel destination, to promote economic development, and to maintain and grow the area’s overall image and reputation.
How We Are Funded
Cottage Grove’s Tourism commission, of Destination Cottage Grove, is entirely funded by hotel/motel tax revenue, not property tax dollars.

Our Mission
Cottage Grove Tourism Commission’s (Destination Cottage Grove) purpose is to promote Cottage Grove by bringing attention to the “CG experience” through marketing and supporting our community groups/businesses who want to attract additional visitors and organize and promote local community events. We strive to provide unforgettable experiences for visitors and locals, alike, fostering a sense of pride and connection to Cottage Grove.
